Requirements

To use the Maturix Gateway Kit you will need:

  • Internet connection: The gateway will automatically connect using cellular network – or Ethernet (DHCP) if you connect the gateway to a network. If you prefer to use Ethernet (static) or WiFi, it must be configured. Check out our guide to get started.

  • Power source: 220V/110V AC power outlet

The gateway should remain connected to power at all times. However, if it becomes unplugged, a backup battery will keep it powered for a minimum of 24 hours.

Installation

To set up the gateway, simply plug it into a power outlet, and the station will boot up automatically. It is important to ensure that the PWR led turns red and the CLD led turns green. If this does not happen, please contact support for help.

Cellular Connection

The station will automatically connect to the cellular network when powered on.

Ethernet Connection

To connect using Ethernet, plug an Ethernet cable into the external WAN port of the case. Then, connect the other end of the cable to an Ethernet wall socket or router.

WiFi Connection

If you prefer to connect using WiFi, follow this guide to configure your station.

Understanding the LED

Please note that WAN and LAN will flash as it changes between up and down link.
