BESIX Accelerator Kick-Off

Besix

After a successful first pitch session with our sensor solution Maturix, we got accepted to the global BESIX Start-Up Accelerator program.

As they are also focussing on construction 4.0 and digital transformation, our smart sensor solution for real-time monitoring of concrete maturity fits right in.

Together with Fluves, nplan, ScaledRobotics, and several other start-ups, we are now part of the program. The accelerator boosts start-ups in construction and property technology. BESIX supports us with a tailor-made program and connects us with professional mentors to find new business opportunities and to push our growth in the industry.

We further got announced two sponsors, Pierre Sironval COO of BESIX Group, and Valery Paquiee Director of Operations of Six Construct. We can highly benefit from their mentoring with their expert knowledge and wide experience in the construction industry. To start out well, we carried out an in-depth need analysis to match our needs and align the further steps with the opportunities the accelerator offers. We recently had a meeting with a concrete technologist, who has also been enthusiastic about Maturix™ as a very promising solution. Our CEO Casper is currently in Dubai for the operational kick-off and the next step is to identify potential pilot projects to further test our technology solution for concrete monitoring in cooperation with BESIX.

We are looking forward to continuing with the program and meeting great people, getting valuable advice from professional experts in the industry, taking part in global events, being part of interesting challenges and get better. Additionally, we are planning several projects for the future together with BESIX as an approved vendor.

“People often believe our sector is slow to innovate and works the same way it did fifty years ago. That’s just not true! Our start-up accelerator aims to make BESIX’s knowledge and experience available to mature start-ups, and provide them with practical assistance for testing or finalising their concept. In time, they may become reliable economic partners of ours. If we work together, we can reinvent the construction industry ecosystem and excel in creating sustainable solutions for a better world.”
Rik Vandenberghe, CEO of BESIX Group
