Orbit 3 5 questions
  • What is the Orbit 3?

The Orbit 3 is an electronic device that records the ambient temperature and relative humidity and wirelessly sends it to the cloud. The temperature and humidity are measured with an accurate digital sensor located on the front of the device.

  • Where can I access the data from my Orbit 3 sensors?

All readings can be viewed online in Sensohive App and the relevant measurements can be integrated into reports in Maturix Precast. It is currently not possible to view data from the Orbit 3 in Maturix In-situ.

  • How is the data transferred to the cloud?

The device transmits temperature readings wirelessly to the cloud using the Sigfox network. Sigfox is a global wireless network dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT), known for its low power consumption and longer range compared to WiFi and BluetoothĀ®. You can set up a Sigfox Gateway at your job site to create coverage – even at remote locations.

  • Do I need to be at the job site to access the data?

No, you can access temperature and strength readings from your computer or smartphone anytime, anywhere, as long as you are connected to the internet. After installing the equipment, you gain the flexibility to monitor temperature and strength development online in real-time, providing valuable insights remotely.

  • How do I install the Orbit 3?

Installation is quick and simple. Install the batteries, place the Orbit 3 in the silicone cover (part no. 33020), and mount the sensor using a screw or a cable tie. By default, Orbit 3 measures the temperature and humidity once every 15 minutes and transmits the data once every hour.
