Record-Breaking Bauma 2019

Sensohive presented Maturix at bauma – the wireless sensor solution for real-time monitoring of the concrete curing process.

bauma is the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building materials, mining machines, construction vehicles, concrete testing, and more. It takes place every three years in Munich, Germany and was the biggest bauma ever in its 65-year history. And it is huge – on 614.000 square meters, you could see cranes, loaders, drillers, concrete-mixes- and  formwork suppliers and many more showcasing their business. But it was not only a fair for strict business – a selfie tower and an observation wheel promoted a pleasant atmosphere.

Record-breaking 620,000 visitors attended the fair (+40,000 more than in 2016) and it was truly an international experience, as the attendees came from over 200 countries all around the world. On the fair, 3.700 exhibitors from over 60 countries were present to show their progress and innovations to the industry. 

We got the opportunity to be on bauma with our partner PASCHAL. PASCHAL is a German formwork supplier for all-in-one-solutions and we are currently working on an even closer partnership. We are very happy that we got the chance to present Maturix, our sensor solution for real-time monitoring of concrete, on bauma 2019 – the heartbeat of the industry. Generally, we experienced the fair as a very open-minded field and you could definitely see the high interest in digitalization and IoT also in this rather conservative market. Our team got the opportunity to connect with individuals and companies in the industry – from potential customers, partners to competitors and also journalists came by our booth regularly.

Overall it was a huge success for us and we want to thank PASCHAL for hosting us and also thanks to everyone who came by our booth to build this experience. We will be back!
